One A studio is experienced in providing LVIAs for renewable energy schemes particularly wind and solar developments.  Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments aim to mitigate any adverse effects on surrounding landscapes and environments and are also regulatory requirement. From experience we believe that meaningful community engagement is a valuable element of the planning process.  We have developed our consultation through public meetings, exhibitions and graphic presentation of information.

Using digital terrain mapping software, we run single and cumulative ZTVs (zone of theoretical visibility) and wireline graphics to assess potential impacts of the development on the receptors within the landscape.  We apply rigorous methodologies for photography and photomontages to produce quality supporting visualisations which are recognised as best practice by assessing Local Authorities.  This provides a ‘no quibble’ tool for consultation.
