Gill Clarke has extensive experience as an accomplished Headteacher in two schools in inner London for a total of 12 years. She has a strength in change management and school improvement. A career in local education authorities of more than 30 years is marked by commendations by Ofsted and the former Secretary of State for Education, Rt. Hon Charles Clarke.
Gill has worked as an associate adviser for Milton Keynes and Northampton education authorities for the last 10 years. She has given direct support and challenge to over 50 schools and comes highly recommended for her quality assurance and school improvement strategies.
Gill established the first Playing for Success centre in Milton Keynes and piloted the One to One programme in primary schools for the Department for Education. She recruited and led a team to train over 200 teachers to work in a variety of school settings. Both projects were an outstanding success for raising pupil achievement in schools.
